The fit is true to size, so you need to make a preference choice between having a slightly smaller boot or a slightly larger boot. If you wear large/thick socks, going up to the 12 wouldn't be a bad idea, but it completely depends on your uses and preferences.

On the inside of my old Mucksters for size 11 says 11-11.5 is this still the case? If I go to a size 12 I'm afraid it would be too big. Thanks!

The size 11 should be the equivalent of your current pair.
