A great spotty for the range - Athlon Optics Ares Gen II15-45x65mm UHD Spotting Scopes

I was looking for a more packable scope for the range and for wildlife viewing. This scope fits the bill. I can now see my impacts on paper very distinctly and very quickly. I'm shooting a 22-250, so bullet holes are quite small. The glass is very good for the price point and the focus adjustment is smooth with the right tension. I have moved up from a cheaper spotty and the difference in clarity is astounding, zero regrets on this purchase. The protective neoprene cover could have been better designed as it can interfere with focusing and use of the sun shade, but that is a minor detail. Athlon continues to be very competitive in the field of optics.
