It does keep the weight of the gunbelt off your hips and the strain off your back.The material is terrible. I have worn mine for about 4 months and it has torn at the seams
Pros: Keeps weight of back.
Cons: Material is terrible mine tore in 4 months of use and thats not evryday use.
