Inexpensive night vision - Carson Mini Aura NV-200 Digital 1x10mm Night Vision Pocket Monocular

Hard to beat for $100. The night vision does not work without an IR light source, but its still pretty cool. I think it's made from a digital camera cmos sensor. When digital cameras first came out, they could initially see through thin clothing because it picked up light in the IR range. The fix for this was an IR filter. This device simply does not have the IR filter.
