Much needed for a plate carrier

by OB5150, Verified Owner from CO, United States Written on April 7, 2026
I am not a fan of having to pull the velcro out from the front flap to disconnect the cummerbund. These solve the problem and make don and doff of a plate carrier much quicker. Generally, QD Cummerbunds are a little pricey, but Optics Planet has this product at a great price, and good quality. I would recommend if you are tired of having to pull up your front flap with your Magazines etc attached to the front of your plate carrier to open the cummerbund to put on or take off your plate carrier.
Pros:
  • Quick and strong
  • Streches a slight bit with elastic
Cons:
  • Pricey
Best Used for:
  • Plate carriers with Front and back cummerbund flaps
Would recommend: Yes

by AspenSavage, Verified Owner from OH, United States Written on March 19, 2023
This is way better, easier to use and more convenient to take on and off than my original cummerbund. I also like the velcro adjustments a lot more than using bungee to link both sides together like others do
Pros:
  • better than
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Plate carrier(after modification)
Would recommend: Yes
