These metal strap connectors work perfectly with the Vortex Harness and promote wear to the connection points on the sides of your binoculars. I bought an extra set to connect the VT Harness to a Pentax 8x40 PCF WPII. I've also used these to attach a harness to my Pentax K-5 DSLR. Pros: Low Cost, Durable Metal, Adds Connectability Options Cons: None

The harness strap connector works very well. I would recommend it! They are very durable strap connectors! It was a little hard to shove it through the slot where it connects on. It is made of some type of strong rubber materials.

IF YOU HAVE LITTLE OR miniature gear this is the product for YOU. Barely holds my rangefinder. The snap ring is small and looks flimsy. Typical CHINESE CONSTRUCTION. Doesn’t look like it will be durable enough for hunting trip.

I was afraid of the material, now I'm flabbergasted by inserting the rings.

Well, the title tells it all. Getting these things on without twisting them round and round is laborious to say the least. I installed seven sets on seven binoculars and it took me about 3-4 hours work, the resulting corrections after putting them on without a twist is a chore and as the rings are very tight with what looks like a sole stainless steel slit through which the rubbery strap must be inserted, my fingers took a real beating by taking them off and then reconnecting them them the other way 'round. But, once on properly, they seem fine.
